The Integrated Household Survey specifically provides data on sexual identity and smoking prevalence, which allows academics, government departments, and other stakeholders to provide evidence for planning, policy and monitoring purposes.

See below five facts about sexual identity in the UK, from the survey:

1.6% of adults in the UK identified their sexual identity as lesbian, gay or bisexual in 2014.

A higher proportion of younger people identified themselves as lesbian, gay or bisexual: 2.6% of 16 to 24 year olds.
